Holy Hella, what a quick spicy book. My goodness 🥵
Not sure what I was expecting as I never read what the book is about 🙈 but wow I was not disappointed. Some spoilers to c u m 😉

We meet Hella, a vampire trapped in an arranged marriage she never wanted to be in. Desperately trying to find a way out of her abusive marriage to Allister, Hella stumbles upon Draven Morainu the tall, unbelievably handsome, muscular shadow welding owner of the k!nk house – Moth & Flame. Only thing is she can’t find anything about him, Hella will need to ask for him from Gothika’s notorious crime lord to gather information on this beautiful man.
Draven may be just as obsessed with Hella as she is with him. He takes her on as his only personal client and wow do they cross professional boundaries but I’m here for it because it was one of the hottest stalking scenes I’ve read. I also love the stalking aspect from both MCs, something new to me, usually I only read about the MMC being the stalker. Nice change of pace

How terrible is Hella’s family? Is this how they see marriage? Is marriage only to gain what the other person has to them? I guess it’s a good way to get your daughter into a forced marriage to a horrible person. She can’t even tell anyone who she is engaged to or when the marriage is to happen all because of her monstrous husband, for fear of her safety from his enemies. I don’t think I could marry someone and not love them or want to be with them 24/7.

Hella is obsessed with this man and he is just as obsessed with her so it works out. Even breaking the rules of his club and the professional boundary they’re supposed to have.

Following Hella after work had been a recurrence for Draven, neither of them acknowledging that they stalk each other, but both knowing that that Draven is just outside her window Hella puts on one of the steamiest single person shower scenes I’ve read. Making Draven want to finally claim Hella. Soulbound some may call this attraction to each other is.
