💋I devoured this book! Why choose, a mysterious kidnapping, family secrets, sexy-mean Alphaholes, gothic vibes and so much more to get lost in, oh also a beauty and the beast retelling. But instead of one beast we get three. 🥵

Spoilers Ahead

🔪From the moment I read his chapter I knew Dane was going to be my favorite. You would never know that the monster whose body is mostly covered in hideous scars, that he was actually a giant teddy bear-to the right person. 

But I know better. Having any sort of emotional investment in Briar would only end in ruin for any of us-most of all me.

Because I’m fairly sure, if I ever got my hands on her, I’d never let her go. Or kill myself trying to keep my distance.

God knows this house is haunted enough. We don’t need another ghost

👓Rhys wants to save himself for his mate, but when his sort of stepbrother brings home this omega- Briar Rose- he and his beast can’t stand it. Treating her like the dirt on his shoes all because he doesn’t want her, it’s not like she had a choice.

Rhys always moves with purpose and charm, but I’ve never seen him be gentle before. And part of me knows, innately, that she’s the reason why. He was waiting. For her. Refusing to touch anyone the way he softly strokes his fingertips over her heated cheek

🖤Nothing more than a bartering chip to her father, Briar is sold to the highest bidder- Cillian Blackwood. Alpha of his pack, cool, calm, collected, keeping secrets from everyone, and making sure she doesn’t escape her new life as his bride.

🌹This was not the way Briar thought her life would turn out. Who knew living with these beasts would be a walk in the park compared to her captive life with her father and sister. Before she was taken. 

😘You’ll have to read and see if Briar finds her sister, learn the secrets Cillian has been keeping, what is up Rhys’s ass and why I fell for Dane from the beginning.

“I’m fine. But Dane is touch-straved. So you’re going to have to share eventually, devil”

He’s glossy black browns quirk. “Devil?”

I shrug, setting my hand on his shoulder where I can face Dane. Shooting the big man a wink as I reply, “Unless you prefer ‘evil bastard.’”

“We’ll stick with devil, I think. Although ‘evil bastard’ might work for special occasions. Birthdays, Anniversaries.”

Dane’s breath quivers. “Briar… are you really giving us a chance?”

To stay with them 

That’s what he is asking. If I’d actually consider making us into a real pack after all the shit that brought us here. Being bound to these beasts, in body and soul. Forever.

It’s terrifying.

I hope in book 3 we get to find out what happened to Briar’s “sister” and the mystery that surround the two for being bread to be omegas.

My Alpha’s solemn certainty smothers every flicker of denial licking through my thoughts. It’s her, he croaks again. She’s our mate.

I can’t imagine what Rhys was going through when he found out that Briar was their mate, after everything he did to her. He treated her terribly for not being his one and only. He was mad at his brother for marrying her, even when Cillian knew that Rhys would only be with his mate and no one else. AND THEN to find out the woman you have been treating like dog shit is actually your mate. I would have lost my mind, and he kinda did

Not right now, though. Not ever again, I’d wager.

We can’t put this back into Pandora’s box. It’s out now-and I’ll be damned if I make this woman feel like anything less than my queen ever again.
