💋Revenge, Betrayal, and Self-Discovery: Analyzing “Dawn of Chaos and Fury”This book was the perfect ending (in my opinion) to The Legacy series. I laughed, I cried, my heart got pulled out of my chest and then thrown back in. I lost my mind more than a few times and started having feelings for characters I hated before. I also love the recap in the beginning told from characters in her other books. I freaking loved this book

⚡I had no idea where this was going to go. Tessa is over everyone trying to control her, use her powers for their own advantages, try to break her but she isn’t having it. The villain has come to take her revenge and I say go for it. Bring the world to its knees. Burn it down!

“She’s perfect,” he interrupted, “Too many people have tried to change her and use her and take from her.”

“And now?” she asked, her voice wavering as she waited for his answer

“And now she is free to become whoever she wishes to be,” he replied, once again lifting her hand. “She gets to decide who is worthy of her. The only reason you don’t trust yourself is because you were constantly told you were enough.”

I could not imagine living my life everyday being told you were not enough. I’ve been told more than a handful of times and still stings to this day. It’s hard to believe someone when they tell you the opposite of everything you have been told about yourself. It’s hard to just flip the switch. The lingering echoes of always being put down never really disappear, they just become quieter. Wouldn’t Theon, Axel and Luka feel the same, as Valter did the same thing no?

Tessa isn’t the only one finding out about her history, lineage, Marks and new bounds. Theon and Axel are slowly learning about the secrets their abusive controlling father had hidden all their lives and how he used people to gain more power and status. Naturally their father is trying to get back to his power and his Source and it doesn’t matter who he uses and what lives he ruins. With Eviana on the run will Valter be able to find her and gain his seat back?

She didn’t deserve what they were offering her, but in the end, she was still a monster . If they wanted to accompany her into death, she wasn’t going to stop them

I didn’t think I would end up really liking Eviana, I hated her during the other books, but wow am I a fan now. I love the relationship that form out of Lange, Corbin and Eviana in the book. A rag tag team of runaway faes. I didn’t think I would have any feeling about her ending, really mad it. I wanted her to get her happy ending even if it was hard fought. I wanted her to be wither her daughter, but absolutely love how Lange and Corbin became her family.

Because there was always a cost. For every good, there was an evil. For every light there was an evil. For every sacrifice, there was a reward.

And hers was getting to watch her daughter admire a flower, bright and beautiful, as she took her last breath. Not as a Source on her knees for her Master, but as a mother knowing her daughter would never have to be what she had to become

Theirs isn’t the only family who was made or reunited.

Alex, Theon and Luke have learned more about their past, people they thought were died come back to live, secrets of mothers and hidden sisters. Honestly this was a twist I was no expecting. Literally no idea about this bombshell. Did not see that Theon’s real mother is actually alive AND that he knows who she is but not that they were related. He was convinced she was killed by his father. Oh my and Axel, finding out that he has a full blood sister, how similar they are and how she gets involved in with his family with Kat and Maddox.

The character arcs, the amazing twists and turns, I definitely lost my mind more than once. The tears that were shed, I felt I was experiencing the losses, the love , the hurt and everything in between! I think this may be my new favorite series! I highly recommend reading this series as nothing is as it seems.

“Axel,” Theon said, his name a little horse as he took the scene, His younger brother, a father.

Tessa cleared her throat, standing back near the door with Luka. “Congratulations”

Alex smiled wide, walking over as he said, “Thank you, baby doll.”

Theon reached for him, pulling him into a hug “You’re a father,” he said, his voice low.

Alex huffed a laugh. “Yeah. How fucking weird is that to say?”

“The dragon dick room?” Alex questioned

“The what now?” Tessa asked.

“There’s a ton of treasure in there.” Alex replied. “Gems. Gold. Weapons. I remember thinking Luka’s dragon dick would get hard in there.”

Kat’s eyes were wide. “What is wrong with you?” she asked incredulously.

“You haven’t seen his cave, kitten.” 

He reached out, thumbing her cheek once more. “If you are weak enough to fall…”

“You are strong enough to rise back up.” she whispered through her tears.

“It’s been an honor to witness.”

Didn’t want to be in the same space as you.” She stiffed at the words, screwing her eyes shut even tighter. “But no matter how hard I tried to hate you, I couldn’t. I wanted them to get together so badly! And so freaking happy that all three of them are together. I don’t know how I would have felt if she had to pick one or the other.

Now she needed to understand that she was theirs as much as they were hers, and that meant she didn’t fucking leave them behind.

And, when necessary, they’d still be her villains
