In 2015, after receiving a tremendous amount of support from her readers in her first few years of publishing, Colleen began looking for a way to give back. Thus, she founded The Bookworm Box with her two sisters, Lin and Murphy. Since then, The Bookworm Box has received its 501(c)(3) status from the IRS and donated over a million dollars to charity.
At The Bookworm Box, we aim to leverage our love of reading to promote literacy and support various other charitable endeavors. We achieve this through numerous literacy-focused fundraisers, including our an annual book convention, Book Bonanza and an annual raffle. The subscription box service has ended as of February 2023 and the bookstore is closed.
