Teagan Townsend has never really fit in and gave up trying a long time ago. A college dropout obsessed with horror, true crime, and the occult, Teagan prefers books to people, her hookups casual, and her friendships nonexistent.

Lately, her focus has been on jumpstarting her true crime podcast…which brings her to her latest obsession.

Led by brothers Declan and Luca De Rossi, Gods of Tomorrow is an emerging rock band known for haunting lyrics, an extreme, overzealous fanbase, and their literal appetite for blood.

Chaos and violence follow the band wherever they go—whether it’s from their fanbase or people in their own circle. But no matter how many girls go missing or die under mysterious circumstances, everyone looks the other way.

When Teagan gets a backstage pass to their show, she’s determined to find out what’s going on and expose them. Except…the closer she gets, the harder it is to see them for what they really are.

Dangerous. Manipulative. Killers.

Seduced by the rock and roll underworld—by sex, drugs, and violence, by living free of consequences—will Teagan escape the spell she’s under before it ruins her?

Or will they wake something inside of her that she can’t put back to sleep?

Pretty Poisoned is a dark why choose/poly romance with MFM and FFM scenes. If you are not comfortable with blood, you will not enjoy this book.

Get Pretty Poisoned

What a wild f*cking ride of a book that was. How did I get attached to these dark, twisted men who are toxic as f*ck? I don’t know how Elle did it but she made me fall for these twisted blood obsessed, hot as f*ck men. Now I’m questioning my sanity (just a little).

Now I won’t lie, I almost didn’t finish the book. Hear me out, it was because of me and not the book. CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS, this book is dark (one of the darkest books I’ve read so far), involves some f*kced up shit and questioning life choices. I still don’t know what my trigger was when I was reading, but the scene and the details of what is happening to the FMC in the bathroom with one of the MMC made me want to throw up, it made me uncomfortable and started to have a hot flash. That was the point where I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep going with this story. I’m so glad that I took a moment to collect my thoughts and dive back into the story. It gets so much better

Our FMC Teagan is a murder mystery, dateline junky who turned her hobby into a career with her social media and podcast. Her family doesn’t consider her “career” as a legit career. Her interests peaked with the Gods of Tomorrow band with rumors of girls disappearing or murdered. Hoping to investigate and uncover the truth about this band and their crazy fan base, Teagan gets VIP tickets where she meets Luca and Declan De Rossi, two of the main members of Gods of Tomorrow.

I think psychopath is the proper word to describe these boys. Smoking hot, tattooed bodies, Blood, music, violence, and mind games.

Would I pick one of the brothers over another, absolutely. Hands down is Luca. Tatted up, muscular lean, and too good looking. He may come with a bunch of red flags, tying people in basements, unhealthy prescription of love, blood isn’t just the band’s thing on stage. But when he says he loves you, to not leave him how could you when he says sweet things and takes care of you. Maybe not in the conventional sense, but it works.

“Because I think you were right this morning. I think I was jealous. I don’t think I’m the kind of girl you can take home to meet your mom. I think I’m the kind you tie in the basement”

And then there is Declan. In charge, controlling, and always keeping secrets. Why does he also have to be good looking monster

“So, you’re a fan.. of me”

Absolutely loved the spice in this book and need to find more books with the spice. MFM with FF/FFM
