Inspired by the belief that women can forge their own extraordinary paths, she penned romance novels to ignite that realization in others. After a successful career in event planning, Suzie returned to her love for literature and combined it with her passion for Charleston. Recognizing the need for emerging authors to connect with readers and industry professionals, she revived LIT with an expanded team and an array of new experiences.
Kelly Finley, a self-proclaimed ‘true GRIT,’ brings her Southern charm and sharp business acumen to LIT. With a deep passion for steamy romance, she leverages her diverse skills to ensure the event runs smoothly. Kelly thrives in the company of readers and authors, sharing her enthusiasm for the genre.
Bree Pyle, aka Bumblebee Books, is a trailblazer in book promotion. Her expertise in Hype Girls and as a personal assistant to authors like Kelly Finley has made her an invaluable asset to LIT. As the marketing mastermind, she has exponentially increased the event’s social media presence.
Robin Hillyer-Miles, a South Carolina native, brings her local knowledge and literary experience to LIT. Published in two short story anthologies, she seamlessly manages the event’s logistics and ensures a flawless experience for all participants.
