Get Ten Minutes
When it comes to finding a good book, there are a few things that can catch a reader’s attention. An intriguing plot, relatable characters, and a smooth writing style are just a few factors that can make a book a great read. But what if a book combines all of these elements in a quick, easy read of less than 200 pages? That’s exactly what Ten Minutes: Oath Keepers MC by Sapphire Knight does.
The book follows the story of an unlikely pair – a six foot something Teddy bear covered in tattoos who rides a motorcycle and a young woman from a different world. This might sound like a typical opposites attract, age-gap romance, but it’s so much more than that. The characters are well-developed and have depth, making it easy for readers to connect with them.
One of the main characters, Spin, is a member of the Oath Keepers Motorcycle Club (MC). As someone who hasn’t read many MC books before, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this aspect of the story. The club is not your typical biker gang, but a group of people who have a strong sense of brotherhood and a desire to help their community. They stand for something bigger than themselves, and it’s heartwarming to see such a representation of the good that can come out of these clubs.
The story is fast-paced and keeps readers engaged from the very first page. The author wastes no time in getting to the heart of the story, and so much happens in such a short amount of time. We get to see the characters’ backstories, their struggles, and how they grow and change throughout the book. Despite the short length, the story is well-developed, and the plot is intriguing.
As mentioned earlier, ‘Ten Minutes’ is part of the Oath Keepers MC series, but it can be read as a standalone. However, after reading this book, I am eager to dive into the rest of the series and learn more about this amazing club and its members.
The writing style is smooth and easy to follow, making it a quick read that can be finished in one sitting. It’s not overly descriptive, but there is enough detail to paint a vivid picture in the reader’s mind. The dialogue between the characters is natural and adds to their personalities, making them feel even more real.
