Get Wicked in the Pines

As someone who grew up watching the popular TV show Charmed, I have always been fascinated by the idea of witches and supernatural powers. And while I may have outgrown my childhood dream of being a witch, I recently came across a book that brought back those memories and made me wish I had magical powers once again.

The book follows the story of the female protagonist, who is a new mother trying to figure out who she is now, with a little ‘witchling’. As someone who is not a mother yet, I was intrigued by this premise. And I have to say, the author did a fantastic job of portraying the struggles and challenges that come with being a new mom. From the physical changes in the protagonist’s body to the emotional turmoil of trying to find her identity again, the book captured it all.

Along with dealing with motherhood, the protagonist also has to navigate co-parenting with her ex and trying to date with a child. These are real issues that many women face, and it was refreshing to see them portrayed in a book. It added depth to the story and made the protagonist more relatable.

It also explores complex themes of love, trust, and loyalty. The main character, who is the center of the reverse harem, must navigate her feelings for each of her love interests while also trying to maintain a balance between them. This presents a unique and intriguing dynamic that keeps readers on their toes. Additionally, the book delves into the idea of unconventional relationships and the societal pressures that come with them. It challenges the notion of monogamy and allows readers to explore the idea of having multiple partners in a healthy and consensual way.

The mystery surrounding the culty neighbors. From the very beginning, you can sense that something is off about them. And as the story progresses, more and more secrets are revealed, making you want to know more. I don’t want to give away too much, but let’s just say that the twists and turns in this part of the story will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Wicked in the Pines is a must-read for anyone who loves a good witchy romance with a touch of mystery. It will take you on a journey of self-discovery, motherhood, and love. And who knows, it might even reignite your childhood dream of being a witch. So, grab a copy, curl up in your comfiest spot, and get ready to be enchanted by this book.
